Dont Lie to me..

Dont Lie to me..

A Poem by Camisha Lynn
"

inspired by a love gone wrong...

"
Old souls will often lament "the truth will set you  free...
Dont lie to me
Is there no honesty where you dwell
Are your actions compel by infamy
To where all you produce is lies...
Unable to speak the truth
you think you protecting me
By hiding you
Mirrors to demons
Veracity not surfaced
Our dark lies define us
And the truth shall shine above
Don't lie to me
No matter how painful or embarrassing it may be
You rep what you sow
You think by sowing this with me because I sowed it with you
Makes it alright
2 wrongs 0 right
Doltish
Not adultish
And you so convince that's it's Karma..
But consciously you made a decision to feed off your past infliction
And try to paint this picture like I'm the one of deception ...
So past your past aggressors becomes your present aggressors
Trips down memory becomes a routine direction
Life is a cycle and we are all in for a world-wind
As the world spins be careful
Because what you put out comes back again...
I vow to not lie to you
So don't lie to me..

A honest and direct poem.
"Are your actions compel by infamy

Some people don't desire the truth. Better to swim in lies till one day the truth is fall away. I like the above lines a lot. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
