What's this limerick aboot?

Hopefully this poem doesn't start an international incident.

A Canadian lass, name of Mary

Swore that she saw a weird fairy

When they checked out her claim

Much to her shame

It was only a drunken Jim Carrey

I do actually like maple syrup. Some of my best friends are maple syrup.

Jim Carrey is a fine actor, and I can't explain what there is I don't like about him.

My late husband was Canadian, and he didn't like Jim Carrey either.
