Poppy City

Based on the poppy field in The Wizard of Oz. In the well known movie whoever entered the field tended to fall asleep due to the scent of the magical wild flowers.

Charming young odor of the sweet clover

flourishing beneath your nose.

Ever so sweet and daringly unique

That's how the story goes.

Once the field is entered the world is now censored

From the smeller's sight.

The Poppy Field takes over, the scent ever so bolder

To stay awake would be a worthy fight.

Enchanting idea, I'll have to rewatch the movie as I have no memory of that field. I think you might have a typo in "odor."
