She's off to Florida

I had my first girlfriend in first grade/

Gave her a sandwich that I made.

She wanted some chocolate, so I payed.

When she was hurting I came with aid.

The she told me she was leaving

So I prayed, and, prayed, and prayed

And begged for her to stay

I was really hoping to delay

Then I looked and she was gone.

What a sad thing to say.
