Falling OFF THE Edge

I have thoughts of suicide

But really just want peace.

I don't actually want to die

I just want that relief.

I really want to see God

But I don't want to go to Hell.

So right now I'm just Drifting

And it feels like I'm under a spell.

My friends say I need Therapy

But I say that's b.s.

But they insist on having a Session

Just so I can de-stress.

So here's a little lesson kids

Listen and shut your mouth.

Life is just a death sentence

Waiting to be carried out.

Jeez! I don't even want to hazard a guess on what inspired that last line! I've ridden many miles through life. And there has always been a reason to be glad for the road. Life itself is such a ride. I hope you find a Sunbeam to chase soon. Clear skies and open roads, my friend.

Deep and rather moody write... Having read several of your other poems I do not think this is actually about you..Thank goodness.. I often write moody things that have nothing to do with my everyday life.. Just a moody feeling comes over me and I write down my thoughts...
The poem is also hard and strong.. for example..Listen and shut your mouth...I felt the powerfulness of that sentence...felt it in my heart..
