Helpless Rejection of The Help

You say you're a therapist,

That you're here to help.

But I just want

To be left to myself.

You want me to express

My inner feeling.

You say it will help

With my self-healing.

I desperately hate this

And want to go home!

I'm quietly praying

To be left alone.

Wow. This really resonates so deeply with me very nicely done. Such a raw emotion. People always talk about how helpful therapy is but never talk about how difficult it is and the emotional bandwidth it takes. You capture this inner frustration and emotion so well, it's present through the whole poem very genuine emotion. I wouldn't change anything about it and I look forward to reading more of your work.
