HEAVENA Poem by CalvspwFor TJ
Heaven
My Little Angel If I were a carpenter, Into the Heaven above, A staircase to you. With love and hope In your eyes so deep The memory makes this mother weep. My copper skinned Angel, The one I never got to see, Grow to be a man. If I were a carpenter, To you a staircase, We could share. Love and dreams, In your eyes so deep, The memory makes this mother weep. If there was anything I could do, To show the one above, The sorrow, shame, A mothers heart, Forever weeps. Love and tears. Forever he sleeps. In death, A mothers heart, Broken, again she weeps. The angel, the baby, Forever in a mother's sleep. He cries, She startles, Waking, forever Her cries will weep Forever as she losses sleep. For this baby she can't help but seep. Forever she'll never forget, When she looks above, She can only wish. He knows its for him, She'll always weep. If I only were a carpenter. by Calvspw © 2008 CalvspwAuthor's Note
