Harper Souls Through the Eyes.A Poem by CalvspwA poem for a college writing assigment
Harper Souls Through the Eyes.
Coal black eyes pierce my soul
Surrounding my heart
within a deep black hole.
Crying eyes, tearing
A heart in shreds,
Cries shatter dreams, waking
This mother, as thunder vibrates,
She sees the tears in the rain
Dark black clouds lighting radiates
the Sky.
A mother’s sleep shatters,
Eyes, deep black, mirror her pain.
Red, lightning strikes,
The skies, as a Cobra
Draws bright red, blood, in bites
Pulsing veins, beating hearts,
Thunder, drums, heating
Adrenalines rising,
As cries pierce the night,
Winds whisper, a breeze
Chilling deep within the soul bright
Lights aluminates, heavens skies,
Listen closely do you hear the blame?
Leaves rustle, ghosts hustle.
Singling lullabies, a mother tries,
To quiet, the baby who cries.
Darkness surrounds the heart,
Eyes, black branding memories, searing
Hazel green eyes tearing,
Memories weight bearing.
