Torment

Torment

A Poem by The Poet of Black Wings

The flaming bird sings.
Songs of pain, echo across the earth.
The sky, cracked under torment.
Black seeping in from the void.
Voices cry out,
Clawing at your ear.
Beyond, a world best forgotten.

This is great. As I read, I think of the legendary Phoenix and wonder if it has thoughts close to this. It makes me want to know more about the situation and life lived of said creature. Thanks for sharing.
