Burning Eye

Burning Eye

A Poem by The Poet of Black Wings

Burning white eye,
Hanging in the sky.
Scorching the earth below
With it's intense gaze.

The closer it gets,
The more unbearable
This heat.

Scarcely i can
Imagine,
What could be worse
Than the glaring,
Of our firey
Sun.

As the sun expands... I hope were gone long before (about 4-5 Billion years in the future) ((billion))

I'm a sucker for this type of writing regardless.

(I censor my staff thank goodness)

WE are destined to be mouth raped by a red giant.

I liked the poem very much. The stanzas and the flow were good. The imagery is well laid out. I could feel the stifling heat beating me down.

Well done.
