The Man

The Man

A Poem by The Poet of Black Wings

There is a man that stalks you at night.
He follows you, waiting for a chance to take a bite.
If you see him, you best run from fright,
Because this man, you can not fight.
I suggest you hide in your house and lock up tight.
When you're safe and sound, stay still and resist flight.
Stay in your room, even under day's sight.
Because the man, even watches in the light.

Thank you?
You're familiar with my ex-boyfriend I see. Lovely fellow...
Chilly feelings evoked here, and bad memories.
So glad he glad he got hit by a bus.

I take my work seriously. I've no time for "high school" drama... Only theater drama.

These things do happen... I can be rather.... Abrasive.
