![]() How Too: Raman NoodlesA Story by The Poet of Black WingsToday,
I can teach you how to make ramen noodles without all the fuss of using a
noisy, expensive, microwave! I’ll show you the proper way, and in my opinion,
the best tasting way to make everyone’s favorite budget lunch! First,
you will need: ·
One
pot capable of holding at least six (6) cups of water ·
Not
one drop less than four (4) cups of water ·
A
stirring utensil (Fork, spoon, etc.) ·
An
eating utensil, preferable a fork or chopsticks ·
A
strainer ·
A
bowl ·
Uncooked
Raman noodles ·
A
“flavor pouch” which should come with the noodles. ·
A
heat source (stove, fire, and so on) ·
A
“winning” attitude ;D Now
to start the cooking process. What you must do first is fill the pot up with no
less than four (4) and no more than six (6) cups of water and set it to boil.
If you’re using a stove I recommend that you turn the burner to max for faster
results. Once
the water begins to boil, add the noodles and (if using a stove) turn the heat
down to about half way. It’s very important to not add the flavor pouch yet. You should wait about two (2) minutes for the noodles to boil
and become somewhat soft. Once they are at your preferred softness, take them
off of the heat source and add the flavor pouch then stir for a good minute,
too a minute and a half. Once it appears that the flavor has seeped into the noodles,
put them into the strainer and let all the water empty out. When you believe
you’ve adequately removed the water, put the noodles into a bowl and wait for
anywhere from two (2) to three (3) minutes to let them cool before eating, as
I’m sure you don’t want to burn your tongue. And there you have it. Wonderful tasty Raman noodles done the
right way and all in a few short minutes!
