A Poem by The Poet of Black Wings

In my life, I've seen sadness
In my life, I've seen tears.
In my life, I've seen greif.
In my life, I've seen fears.

I've watched friends and family die.
Saw them take their final breath and fly
When I wake at night and know that their gone,
I look to the skys light, and know how long.
I know that I knew them, and that they knew me.
I know that they were happy, with me.
I know they lived for me, and I for them.
But most imprtantly,
I know that I love them, and they love me, far away, as they might be.

We are conected forever, no matter what looks to be in the way
we are still together, even though they seem to be gone.
