Black Lettered WarA Poem by Callum28My views on warfare and conflict.Black Lettered War:
A flight of delving eagles, A roam of grounded lynx, A crypt of blood and salted tears, Pointless, one thinks?
A single bullet, yet a thousand deaths, Letters in blood stained water, Yet more graves for heroic fathers, Lonely mother and daughter,
Years on with such resent, Bring out blackened hearts, Remorceless, crying, dead already, Lives still torn apart... © 2013 Callum28Author's Note
