Complexities

Complexities

A Poem by Calliopee

"

I long to destroy your complexities

like the staleness of your eyes

burning, distant

unmatched, untouched

like dried leaves, no longer green

or maybe

the melody of your sighs

the decibels of your words

whispered, yet screaming

volumes to me

Mysterious. That's what this piece makes me feel. I can vaguely imagine two persons conversing... not necessarily lovers but close. I like it.

Great imagery, figurative language. Well written, nice sentiment.
