Casinca ChevreA Poem by CallieWVU2Contest Submission
You sound like a beautiful
Complicated dance. Where the woman
Turns her head to you and then
Forgets that you are there. She’s in
Heaven and her arms are the flames
Of dainty candles, flickering like they
No longer need music, but will move
Perfectly without anything at all.
Casinca Chevre, perhaps it is the name
Of the woman dancing, perhaps she is
Beautiful without music,
Perhaps she doesn’t need to dance at all,
Perhaps Casinca Chevre, you are only
Cheese.
