Bury Me Somewhere

Bury Me Somewhere

A Poem by CallieWVU2

Bury me somewhere

Where the hands are gentle

And my mind is allowed to break.

Where the Sun doesn't hurt my eyes

And I can stare for hours.

Bury me somewhere

Where the fields are green

And the grass never dies,

Where the stars live, dancing,

And they mark the night.

Bury me somewhere

Where a tree stands over me

And keeps me in shade.

Where the birds tell me stories with chirps

And songs, I'll never grow tired of.

Bury me somewhere

Where you are near

And my heart can feel your smiles

Where my soul can wait.
