Into that Trunk

Into that Trunk

A Poem by CT
"

I keep stumbling into a world that is becoming more and more fascinating. It scares me.

"

As you and I
(that DSGB, straight thug I think I know so well)
As me and you
   go
      c r u i i iiiiiiis
                        s
                          sing
        d
        o
        w
        n
          Highway 82
A black fog encases my line of sight
and a thickening of the ear drums take place

HEY MANG
   Puff
        Puff
              Pass
Don't you know the rules??!

As the innocent
and the Devil
   Go

        P
    U

As high as that 20 a gram
     green
           sticky
                 shiny
                      shiit can take them

TIGHTEN UP!
    Tighten up, ninja!
Don't you know the sun's fittin' to go down?
(It's already down in my eyes)

And then one day
I take a peek into that Thug's trunk
(That DSGB who gives the best hugs)

          and WOW
whaaaat a whole new world.

I finally understand.

Fifty dollars.
     50
  dollars
For a little green thing

      this

   [        ]

      big

But you put a bill over it
    and crunched that money up
You're pupils are tiny.
    (And you're lookin' good, honey.)

And such passion flies from your mouth
   When ole' girl is involved
and business is to be done
that
      I

        almost
              (almost)

Don't see you slowly killing my mother.
The face
     to a real demon
           I don't think I know so well.
But

I know you
    and
you keep pickin'
   and I keep stumbling

Right

into that trunk.

Good poetry. And I know what a DSGB is. Part of being a thug is learning slang all over the country. I realy dig it and wonder if my wife feels the same about going in our trunk.
