Savagery

Savagery

A Poem by Sydney The Wallflower
"

Savagery is a small poem I wrote, inspired by The Lord of the Flies. Great, ferocious, mind bending book.

"
Is it hidden deep inside our minds,
Savagery, evil?
Have we acquired it?
Has it lived in us,
All throughout time?
Darkened, hooded,
Waiting for the most vulnerable,
It waits.
It listens.
Savagery. evil.

Very powerful, i don't think you should have put the evil line in this but in it or not it is very powerful and just amazing. :)

I really liked this, Sydney. There are so few words yet a powerful message thrown across the board. Your piece rightly emphasizes upon our inner demons that invade us eventually.
By the way, welcome to WC! Hope to see you around! :D
