My Letter To You

If I wrote you,  would I be wrong
to tell you I love you, despite it all
Id wish you the best, even though we ended bad
Id hope you found someone else, that can bring you happiness
Id hope you were having fun, Laughing and smiling all the time
Id even wish you a life full of love, despite the bitterness in mine
Id tell you all is forgiven, and that we can even be friends
As many lies as it took, just to bring you happiness

This is my letter to you, that I will never send
Lies full of love, a contradicting trend
I will spill my heart to you, like everything is fine
Just like I used to, back when you were mine

If I wrote you, would I be wrong
To tell you I love you, by sending you a song
"I wanna make you feel wanted" or maybe even "come over"
As long as it made you feel special, and possibly gave you some closure
Just to make you smile, Its all Ive ever wanted
I would send my love one last time, Telling you its okay I promise
Id say the past is the past, and I'll love you forever
As long as your happy I'm happy, even though its over
