The Path

The Path

A Poem by Calissa Knox
"

A simple, hopeful poem

"

The path of rejection

  can lead to inspiration.

The path of darkness

  can lead to light.

The path of betrayal

  can lead to forgiveness.

The path of loss

  can lead to new life.

"The path of loss can lead to new life." ... Yeah, I do agree with yer this line. Life gives everything but it takes away it from us at the same time ... so, profit and loss're the keys of cool life .. If we gain today something then one day we're gonnna loose ... like God made us and one day he'll call us back to the heaven to let the new one survive ... So, this's a chain of life .... but it's true that loss always lead to a new life... If we do love then one day love's gonna rip our heart off hardly with the pain because today we gain love and tom. we've to loose it because "starting and ending" ... these're the two poles of life... life's based on it. Nice work, I really enjoyed yer this short write, it's cool. Keep writing dear, Dawny.

Simplicity is so hard to achieve specially when dealing with complex themes.
When you can identify what is superfluous and take it all out only truth remains, right?
Thank you for doing it so beautifully.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed this.
Another incredibly profound poem! Wow!

I like the way you formatted it, too. What I get from the format (meaning the indentation) is that, just because you’ve been down a certain “path”, doesn’t mean you have to continue in that direction. Anyway, it’s obvious, but no less true :)

I just love how your style seems to be short and to the point (at least for the poems that I’ve reviewed so far). I think for this poem especially it really works, so kudos :) For me it’s like saying, yes, you’ve gone through some rough stuff, but it’ll lead to better things, so there’s no need to overcomplicate everything. Just accept it and be thankful for the good to come :)

Just great! I’m subscribing! haha

Yes, that is very true. Thanks for the review!
This little poem is perfect, it doesn't need more, you've said all that I had in mind today....

Life and death can be so full of lovely contradictions, and you paint them....
The one can't be without the other, and there is beauty in everything we embrace....

Your quill tonight made me smile, and happy. Thank you my friend.

This was the perfect little poem. Few words, big message and all of it so wonderfully true. Very nicely done.
