I Remember My Childhood

I Remember My Childhood

A Poem by Calibaster
"

this poem is just my memories, all mushed up into a small space.

"
I remember my childhood--
The world lived on my street
But now that I'm older
It seems so discreet,
I recall hot summer days
When I cooled my feet,
Where in hazy moonlight
Cricket choirs would meet,
I remember those winters
That seemed to complete
A whole year of living,
But who can compete
With the memories of childhood,
Those dreams-- oh so sweet!

Not so good? What, are you crazy! This was amazing! I had no idea so many words rhymed with street, and that you could get them all into the poem! Wow! I can barely get two consecutive lines to rhyme and make sense, and that you could all those words and that they made so much sense, well, let's just put it this way. Alverrann, you are AMAZING!!
I loved it. And the world does live on your street. Your street has everyone on it. :)
You are so cute in that picture! I don't ever remember your dad having a mustache. It's kinda weird to see him with it.

It's great. I totally agree, I remember summer nights better, when it's cool and the suns going down, riding our bikes down the hill. Your dad has a mustache in that picture! And again, your poem is amazing!
