I remember my childhood--
The world lived on my street But now that I'm older It seems so discreet, I recall hot summer days When I cooled my feet, Where in hazy moonlight Cricket choirs would meet, I remember those winters That seemed to complete A whole year of living, But who can compete With the memories of childhood, Those dreams-- oh so sweet! © 2013 CalibasterAuthor's Note
