The World is a SunsetA Poem by Calibaster
Wispy shapeless clouds,
Grey, blue and gold, Contrast with the mountains, Outlined black and bold. Golden treasure is hiding, Behind the magical mist, Blue clouds are tinged with purple, Where heavens light has kissed. The sky is turning precious, Diamonds are sparkling snow, Clouds are like golden ships, With the dark of night in tow. The gold is being buried, Now silver will come out, The moon will shed its light, On all the world about. But without moon or sun, The world is still a jewel, So treat it like you should, Don't look past like a fool. The world is a sunset, It's beauty will not last, So we should stop and look, At the golden light it casts. © 2013 CalibasterAuthor's Note
