Whenever I hear the wind in the canyon

Whenever I hear the wind in the canyon

A Poem by Calibaster
"

I wrote this for a contest.

"

Whenever I hear the wind in the canyon,

Carrying past echoes of eagles cries,

I look into the midnight sky,

And watch as a star dies.

The moon stares down,

And asks me, “Why?”

His questioning face,

Lights the sky.

The sky pours tears,

Raining stars,

An angry eye glares,

From distant Mars.

Whenever I hear the wind in the canyon,

Carrying past echoes of eagles cries,

I look into the midnight sky,

And watch as a star dies.

I sounds so good, not what I was expecting with that name. You have a very good flow and rhythm.
