Deliverance

Deliverance

A Poem by Callum

This house breeds death
shadows roam the halls
where you once lived
I tried to chase them away
the ghosts continue to multiply
raking over the coals of a black heart
they slip through the cracks of our door
the door I destroyed
sledging away with an axe
driving the splinters further
deep under my bleeding nails
numbed by your betrayal
I entomb myself in this house
waiting for deliverance
from the bondage of corruption

If I thought it would keep you warm...I'd say burn it all down...but not even that would set your soul aflame...back to the burn of love. I still however hear passion and that is what is important for there in the darkness is where your amazing talent comes from. This is beautiful and sad ........

My pleasure amigo...:)...........
Can escape deliverance till the mind is blinded. I like the feel of the need to forget. I have known this emotion. No weakness in the amazing poetry.
