I'm a spirit in the sky.
I'm a spirit in the sky. With firefly wings I glide beneath the moon. eyes open to the truth I fly beneath the moon. When I was a boy the devil came to me and showed me pain. from that day I have only seen hurt. But I smile. I smile with a thousand torches I smile. As the years went on I grew into a man at the ripe age of ten. sent to fend for myself I became who I am today. a fighter with a heart. A lover with a one million sparks. A dreamer with harp. I'm twelve strings bent backwards. over wound. underplayed I sing my song beneath the rain. my skin soft as dillion on a cool summer's day. my soul hard as the strongest metal man will ever make. Pluck my soul, my echos vibrate on a train heading to a land no one will ever understand. come aboard try to live, the life that has been given. shock a mere illusion there is nothing that you can do to make me fall. I'm roman pillar with an Egypt curse. a thousand locus I'm a blessing inside a terror flame suit. My eyes have seen more then I will ever comprehend more then I will ever need to use. but I smile for today is the day the heavens opened up, clipped my wings and let fall back to earth to love again. tears made of diamonds, I'm a cave with no end just a flickering candle deep within awaiting to be set a blaze. © 2011 Caleu Andrade |
