School Yard Games

School Yard Games

A Poem by Caleu Andrade

Behind the door we play,

Behind your back we kiss.

Breaking rules, ignoring grace.

Give me your love

Give me you touch

Give me your love

Give me your touch.

Beneath the street lamp we sin.

Inside the bar we break.

Bending minds, Creating a new race.

Give me your love

Give me your hands

Give me your love

Give me your touch.

As the lights fades we dance

As the souls glide we brace.

Give me life

Give me sin

Give me love

Give me pain.

Blood flows through the streets as the rich drink there martinis.

Diamonds are for ever the tv says, as another child dies.

Infest pools

Infested minds, Protraying the Artist lie.

A new drug for a new illniss, A new illniss for a new sickness.

Spin the wheel, toss a dime it's just money I say.

Give me love

Give me flight

Give me touch.

Take my wings

Take my sight

Take my lips

As the propaganda slips, the paper prints.

As another man dies Another man lives.

Give freedom

Give me escape

Get me out of this place.

These are my favorite line in this poem.
Blood flows through the streets as the rich drink there martinis.
"Diamonds are for ever the tv says, as another child dies.

Infest pools

Infested minds, Protraying the Artist lie."
It seems that you are an advocate for the struggle of humanity and see where priorities should become focused and are not.
All in all good poem.
