Just Words

Just Words

A Poem by Caleu Andrade

My mind spinning like a dryer the words being over heated trying to capture the softness without putting you to sleep my words roll out like a carpet as it winds around the unreachable curves I unravel my fingers. wanting to speak my mind without pushing you away wanting to open your eyes without blinding you by the light. Into a ball my spirit rolls down the hill being chased by the hunters of truth my weary feet stumble in the woods of the man made distractions. You hit my heart like a spear being driven into the chest of the beast ,arms stretched my wings form as the rose petals rain from the sky. Red beauty killer of life why must you haunt my restless limbs.Wanting to attack dying to fight stuck in a corner unable to bite. with teeth snarling I let my demons flow from my cross as the rain washes my pride Swinging from the canopies my wild soul soars through the jungle of users and abusers below the jaguars eye with envy  waiting for the branches to break they stalk my tracks. just words my mind says just expressions with no meanings my lips whisper as the my hands streak across the stars my tears rain down in a ball of fire across the faded emotions filled with dreams that one can see. So we press on like soldiers we march through the trenches unable to turn back we bury our love in the ground. Just movement my eyes project just chaotic flutters from the lens as the strings of nature tug with fury my fingers run through the clouds just images they say just  lost pieces of gold yet their specs burn like sun. Feel my meaning, feel my words , feel my voice as it vibrates over your skin like a spider crawling over you hair I know you feel my existence so don't brush me off for my words ring with meaning they shine with light with each hum my images glisten with vibrant colors of the morning sun breaking over the horizon.
