Fire side

Fire side

A Poem by Caleu Andrade

All artist die in one shape or form.
All inspiration comes from an underlying pain
A hidden secret we refuse to let go.
My secrets deep, my meanings tightly
Woven behind an heard story an unseen truth
To produce words that take shape one must
Give up the physical need to touch physical
Forms. Mere touch a fleeting desire, a
Pure lust for what we want only to forget what
I ever really needed. I gave you up the moment
My hands took what you held dear. I stopped
Living the second my eyes shuttered at the
Inner greed within. The animalistic hunger
That never seems to satisfy as the flames dance
Within the fire side. Give up, give in for
As any true artist knows we always die in the
Physical form only to be reborn in the letters
Within our beaten withered minds.
