Calue To My BrotherA Poem by Caleu Andrade
Sit on my lap child for your to young to know the truth.
Take my hand child for your to bold to run free. Oh what will mankind leave for you, when your all grown up and the birds no longer sings. So much love, in such a short time. Come walk with me child as I show the meaning of reality. On a summer's day you play in the sand box, as those who have come before you call out your name. What will you do when I'm gone? Where will you hide when you have no home? Rainbow eyes, sunburst smile as the lighting cracks from the sky. Oh my little one what have I done? Trying to take away the pain from deep inside. Trying to show you the light. Through you I lived. Through you I died. In the dead of of night I search for you. In the middle of the day I dont see you. You have left me. Have you ran? Or did they take you away. Missing you, Trying to live for you. Keeping you alive in my mind Telling myself you never died. No more tears, No more smiles just an empty house on the Brasilian coast. One day we shall meet again One way, some how you will live once again. © 2012 Caleu Andrade |
