A Poem by Caleb

Two

What hope have we in this growing place,
More than that of a lonely one?
More than just a starving face?
A number of our reeking race?
A victim of inequity until our days are done.
What stands out deep within our hearts
That makes us just a lonely one?
And now, I must set out to part
To find one more than lonely one.
