Flowers of the Heart

I wrote this poem as a wedding present for a couple of dear friends that got married on Aug 8/08. I also included 2 of my framed rose photos as well.

 

 

 

 

The epitome of love is a treasure so rare

 

Few get to realize what some get to share

 

To be temporarily sequestered a moment in time

 

And be enraptured by this love so sublime

 

Never ending desire beyond comprehension

 

Lovers brought together without apprehension

 

Different backgrounds yet similar too

 

Souls brought together by a love so true

 

The love and exuberance blooms when apart

 

Life coalescence, flowers of the heart
