![]() LifeA Poem by Celeste Hayne![]() This was one of the first poems I wrote, therefore, I am dedicating it to our first grandchild Ava Michele who was born on Tues. July 15, 2008.![]()
As Mother Nature and God have given us life to breathe,
so too we are given breath from all plants and trees.
As the changing of the four seasons arrive,
so too do our many changing lives.
As communication in life is never ending,
so too our voices are heard by letters sending.
As anger, resentment and hatred appear,
so too we share love, compassion and generosity every year.
As the challenges of relationships come true,
so too we remind ourselves to say, “I love you.”
As we celebrate our true endearing qualities,
so too we remember our most intricate abilities.
As the memories of times long gone past,
so too we cherish the moments few and vast.
As family, friends and loved ones share,
so too our moments of friendships fare.
As our talents evolve into lifetime pleasures,
so too we recall the meaning of measures.
As with life of eternity unfolds,
so too one life story after another gets told.
