Fallen

Fallen

A Poem by Caitlynn Cusick

I'm just a girl,
Your just a boy.
But in each others eyes,
We see so much more.
I see your wings,
I see your scars
The fire in your eyes,
Shows other worlds.
You awaken a part of me,
Something unseen.
My wings unfold,
Scarred from battle,
My hair burned black,
As dark as your soul.
We've fought so hard,
Fallen from grace.
We've fought for each other,
Our scars show that race.
We're fallen angels,
You and I.
You've fallen for me,
I see this to be true.
Well guess what angel,
I've fallen for you.

If you like each other that's what counts. We recognize in a true friend different qualities, not just the superficial. Sounds like love to me.

Our scars show that race."
