Love and War

Love and War

A Poem by Caitlyn

Tears fall from my face and wet my chest
My eyes: blue orbs unseeing what is best
There's no undoing mistakes that hurts those I care for
But if the no longer care who's to say I care?
Who's to say what's fair?
If all is fair in love and war then my words are righteous
But if that is true then so are hers...
The pain lingers and tears follow
With no way to fix broken love the war rages on
A weary friendship is not true and no agreemet is valid
There can be no winner and love and war
