If I Could Only Sleep...

If i could sleep i would fly away,
i could be a bird flying over the ocean
or be Peter Pan flying with Wendy
and feel the air flow through my hair.

If i could sleep i would go on an adventure,
run with tigers in the rain forest
or go backpacking though Europe
and feel the adrenaline run through my veins.

If i could sleep i would leave this world,
walk on the moon
or uncover a new planet
and feel the excitement of discovery

All the things i could only do..
​If i could fall asleep.
