Black and Blue

Short 2 minute rant

Negativity eats at the soul

Leaving it barren and cold

Unable to feel happiness

Losing ability to control

 

It will continue to consume

All of the positive in you

Until black is all you see

And all you feel is blue

 

It is in all in the mind

Look and you will find

The strength to be happy

For darkness leaves you blind

 

Think; today I choose

Not to be abused

By darkness of the past

Negativity; you lose

 

I know it sounds of ease

I know it’s not a breeze

But I will hold your hand

Until happiness you seize

 

Some days may be hard

While we are apart

Just know that I love you

With all the pieces of my heart

A 2 minute rant after a very tiring and negative few days... I will be writing more... this is just a tiny fraction of how I am feeling. But I needed to let it out.

What an inspirational and poetic little gem of a poem, indeed negative issues of past experiences can drag us down into a mire of demise, but with a positive outlook and a little love, these will soon disappear into the ether and as they do so, there'll be absolutely no need whatsoever to feel gloomy!
