A lover’s tender kiss,

Fervent and true,

The striking moon’s eclipse,

A luminescent view.

 

I’ll be…

Waves on sandy shore,

Crashing with the tide,

The mountain you adore,

Standing strong with pride.

 

I’ll be…

Spring times gentle rain,

Colourful flowers bloom,

The ease from all your pain,

Your beloved music tune.

 

I’ll be…

The eagles perpetual soar,

Each footprint that you make,

The vast lands you explore,

Every single breath you take.

 

I’ll be…

The gust of wind concealed,

Soft glistens in the snow,

Summer sun revealed,

I’ll be everywhere you go.

 

I’ll be…

The truth in all you seek,

The love inside your heart,

Strength when you are weak,

The creative flow of art.

 

I’ll be…

The wisdom in the word,

The justice in your cause,

Your willpower undeterred,

The calmness when you pause.

 

I’ll be…

The dreams that you chase,

The dreams not yet discovered,

No matter what the pace,

In time they’ll be uncovered.

 

I’ll be…

The beauty that you see,

With your empathetic eyes,

In your life I’ll be,

The answer to your why’s.

Your unwavering conviction,

In all you know is true,

You are my addiction,

I’ll remain in you.

No matter what fate brings,

No matter what HE plans,

I’ll fly with open wings,

In your heart I’ll land.

The colour in your sky,

Your love set me free,

In you I will reside,

Forever I will be…

This came to mind as I was thinking about someone very close to my heart and I just want her to know... that forever I will be <3

I will be honest I do not usually like rhyming poetry, often times the rhymes feel forced or over used, but honestly your poetry is just lovely. I love the hope in your stanzas and how even though you seem to have such an unhappy burden weighing on your life, you still don't seem to just give up or in. And for me who can write such unhappy poetry with nothing truly wrong I find that to be a very admirable quality, thank you for your beautiful words.
