Chapter 1

"Come on! One more trick!" "Fine," I replied. I grabbed the deck of cards and threw it into the air. The cards slowly fell down to the floor and I grabbed one at random out of the air. "This is a card," I threw it into the air again and left. It was annoying, my classmates asked so much from me just because I could do card tricks they expected me to do them for them all the time. As I walked through the hallway of my high-school, I saw her. The goddess of this school, Jennifer Rachel Elizabeths. Yes, I had a crush on her. A pretty unhealthy one to be exact. Why? Because she was going out with the most popular guy in the school, quarterback Martin Richfield. When I had heard that those two went out, I gave up. It was actually really ironic because I had actually learned card tricks because of her. Pretty pitiful that I had learned card tricks for her like four years ago in freshman year of middle school and she didn't even know my name. My sister also said that. My twin sister to be exact, but we were fraternal twins so we looked nothing alike. Actually, no one knew that we were twins considering the fact that our parents divorced and remarried. I was the father follower and she the mother. We had different last names and different personalities. She got friends pretty quickly and became friends with Jennifer while I was the loner type. Nowadays I had become a 'in' guy because I could do something neat. But I was still not 'in' enough to be on friendly terms with her so I was the 'in but out' guy so I was still really nervous around Jennifer. I took a deep breath and walked past her. But while on the outside I looked calm I was on the verge of a breakdown on the inside. I was so hopeless in love with her that I reacted like that, incredibly pitiful. I walked past her and then I smelled something that I shouldn't smell on her, the smell of magic. I grabbed her arm and exposed her wrist. four cuts, four people, I turned to face her, but then I noticed what I was doing. I quickly let go and ran away. I ran as far and fast as I could. As soon as I knew that I was far enough I grabbed held myself. I pulled up my sleeve and there were fifteen cuts. Fifteen marks, fifteen achievements, fifteen. My whole world had changed, the girl I had a crush on was a member of the game. I ran to the toilet and took out my smartphone, I looked up an app which was called Battle Royale. I ran through the app and landed at 'Ranking' looking up the ranking:

1st The Magician 15

2nd Arthur 5

3rd Merlin 5

4th Lucky Lucky 4

5th Rose 4

6th Smooth/Rough 4

The three possibilities of Jennifer being a player were: Lucky Luck, Rose and Smooth/Rough. I exited the toilet and headed to the school cafeteria. It was time for me to talk to my sister.

My sister was sitting surrounded by her usual friends and I had something in my hand that would help me with my 'convincing'. I walked towards her and threw it to her. She caught it with her reflexes and turned to me, along with her friends. I smirked and gestured to her hand. She looked and saw what it was. She looked at me for a second, weighing her options. After a few seconds she walked towards me and asked: "What?" "Not here, I don't think your friends want to hear this." She followed me out of the cafeteria and once behind the doors, I grabbed her and we appeared on the roof. "I still can't get used to this," my sister commented, "anyway, what do you want?" "Who is Jennifer Rachel Elizabeths in Battle Royale?" My sister shrank back but turned to me and asked: "How did you know?" "I have fifteen, I learn things after a while," I commented. She scoffed and asked: "Why do you want to know?" "Curiosity mostly," I answered. "You mean your feelings?" I cringed and for a second before saying: "Don't challenge me Smooth/Rough, you know more than anyone that I went up that ranking legit and I can kill you." My sister stopped for a second before saying: "Lucky Lucky. She's Lucky Lucky. She put all her points in luck. I introduced her to this game before it became... well this." I froze. Lucky Lucky was a player a few people adored because she was the the one person someone partied with to get a good drops from boss monsters when Battle Royale was a PvE game. Now everyone asked who Lucky Lucky was to get to rank 4, and I knew. Jennifer Rachel Elizabeths, the girl I, The Magician, had a crush on, was Lucky Lucky.

As you can see, there is almost no character description and/or a name. I thought of this idea and I had to try. I just had to. Please tell me what you think.
