Chapter 1A Chapter by Kane
Asgard:
A man was sitting in a cell, a man with a wolf pelt covered on him. He was thin, showing the lack of food, and yet his eyes were sharp. But he was chained to a wall, a special chain that stopped powers from flowing, and to add to that fact, a knight was guarding his cell. A knight who didn't know his bloodline, a knight, who lived to become a legend. This knights name was Ivanvade T'lore, or more often known as the Diamond Knight. But who was that man to be guarded by a legend? Simple, he was a Shaman, a Shaman who could control the monsters that were wreaking havoc on the world. The Shamans name was Girundar, but he was on his edge of Sanity currently. He had been in contact with the Eldrazi, beings of great power and little intelligence, for far too long, and he could be considered insane, were he not so intelligent, that his insane being seemed like a normal sane persons being. Girundar was not just any Shaman though, Girundar had saved the Eldrazi from a prison plane, but this led to the current disaster. For that he landed in his current situation. Indeed, it was quite ironic that he got put into a prison for freeing creatures from one. But the irony is not a part of the story I am about to tell you, parts of this story, are the Eldrazi, Girundar, Ivanvade and many heroes, either good or bad. Now let us dive in, into the world of the planes, into their world. But it all began in this prison Girundar sat in, in Asgard, the city of gods. Girundar looked tired. He held his hands in front of his eyes, inspecting them. "Physical and magical binds huh," he sighed. He clutched the necklace in his hands, ivory was what it was made of. "So today I will be released to stop them... To them I'm just a pawn currently... a sacrificial pawn." But while Girundar was muttering, another person entered the depths of the cells, covered in illusions. Zold was his name, Black hair but green eyes, an unusual combination. But no one could see him, for he was covered in layers of illusions. "Found you," he muttered under his breath as he saw Girundar. He waited for a bit until someone else joined them from the prison cell. The shadows melted into a person, a woman to be exact. Blonde hair so light, that it seemed white, an hourglass body that was emphasised be her red dress and slender legs, protected from the weather by black leggings. She held her nose into the air before making her presence known to Girundar and Zold: "Good to see you, Zold," she turned to Girundar, "how did you get into this mess this time, old friend?" Girundar gave a weak smile before saying: "I freed the Eldrazi from their prison for great spells, Alexandra. But it seems like they are devouring other planes in their rage." Alexandra sighed while holding her hand to her forehead: "Why does this not surprise me? Oh yeah, it's because you are always so impulsive. The Eldrazi were sealed away for a reason." She bent the bars of the cell enough for even an elephant to fit through with ease before saying: "I'm quite surprised that they haven't come to Asgard yet, Alfheim has been completely destroyed." "I know," Girundar replied, "the Eldrazi, they talk to me. The minority seeing that the majority are mindless beings of destruction." Alexandra opened her mouth to retort but was interrupted by a new voice: "Well aren't you all chummy?" The new person had ears like those of an animal and a fox tail, for she was a kitsune who was trapped in human form. Her human form though, was beautiful in a wild sense, long black hair tied together in a pony tail, A black sleeveless shirt and eyes so orange, that they seemed to peek into ones soul. She was smiling but when the knight was unsheathing his sword, she waved her hand saying: "Whoa there buddy, don't worry! I got this!" Ivanvade hesitated for a second before sheathing his sword again. "So a jailbreak huh?" The kitsune said while summoning something. The summoned being was an ethereal, a being that devoured souls. "I'm sorry to say, but I can't go anywhere, the chains are here, and he has the key," Girundar gestured to Ivanvade. "Sweetie, I have no soul so that doesn't work," Alexandra laughed at the ethereal, "Zold, can you start with the chains for a second? I'll be there in a second." Zold entered the cell and rattled at the chains for a bit. But before he could deal any considerable damage, Alexandra rushed in, snapped the chains like twigs, grabbed the two and disappeared in the shadows, leaving behind a surprised fox and a confused knight.
