Valkyrie

Valkyrie

Valkyrie

1 A beautiful, winged, scar-ridden maiden

Once thought to be lost in battle

In fields with which death are laden

Now has her pick upon mortal men

2 Riding in a blaze of fury

Her noble steed a boar

She is known as Valkyrie

Full of beauty, strength, and glory

3 The glorious warriors whom she chose

Now reside forever in Valhalla

Victorious and freed from woes

Celebrating in the halls of Odin

4 Filled with fighting, feasts, and mead

For Ragnarӧk they now prepare

Following dutifully behind Thor's lead

Readying themselves for the final fire

5 Waiting for the end of time

They are now our final stand

Their past lives now a stime

No longer caring about glorious death

6 Now we trust the Valkyrie’s choice

And hope that the Warriors will defend us

If they succeed, we shall rejoice

But if they fail, we now are doomed
