Fall, Angel

Fall, Angel

A Poem by Cae

You keep dancing around your fate

Pushing me down from your heavenly gate

Fall through the clouds, where I found my angel wings

Fall down to where my heart is in spring

Hell is a home here with Persephone and Hades

Hell is a home here with myself, baby

I’ve found the light in the darkness you can’t find

Will you ever change your mind and search again?

Unlock the gate; fall down to the so-called condemned

You’d take the bait if you weren’t afraid

This isn't a masquerade, I am the god I never was before

And you can bite me any time; I’ll pull you whenever you want

I’m a pretty sight, but I can’t say I’m not innocent

But come to hell and be intimate; let me make you a god

I know you can’t help but fall when intricate strings are stronger than gravity
