Never YouA Poem by CaeDo you want to stumble through a heaven we don't believe in I'd like a break from all the days spent in hell Maybe it'll help heal the cracks in my shell Some days I think only salt water can slip between the cracks Like it's waving through my thoughts I know my soul can be bought for only those salt water tears But I think you'd understand After I've spent so many years in dry dirt and moist mud And after trees and cactus splinters carved intricate cuts on my skin After so many nights spent in the cold horrors of my mind You'd understand why I hate humankind But not you Never you
