Dirty WordsA Poem by Cae*** high notes ***
I used to be tired of hearing you snore at night
But now the white noise is gone and I just feel alone I'll walk overgrown tracks with you If it's something you want to do But I'm done playing peekaboo So come throw rocks at my window at two in the morning And let me feel your warming heart beats In between our bedsheets In the place we call home And through the monotone Of your monotonous days in alleyways Where you paid for a quarter with a dime Even though you said your lips were only mine And you too were done kissing bottles I could write novels With all your dirty words and red hurts I'm pretty damn well sure That you don't know your own name anymore When you're only f*****g twenty-four I really can't do this anymore And I know I used to be tired of hearing you snore at night But now the white noise is gone and I just feel alone But I won't pick up the telephone © 2017 CaeReviews
