That was never the case before
But that was before I saw the beauty in my blood
And the red of your mars
And realizing while looking at your stars
That red is love
And power
And what I see in between cracks of rust
And spaced-out lust
And faces flushed
Roses are red
And violets are red
And sepia tints are now straight red
After walking the streets with you
And matching tattoos
And bidding adieu's
So, red is my favorite color
I hope it doesn't bother you much
