There's A GirlA Poem by CaeThere's a girl on my bedroom floor And she's got paint under her short, bitten fingernails Making colors, just stuff that's obscure There's a girl in my bed Only offering blank stares at the ceiling She can't get you out of her head There's a girl in my bathroom Staring in a mirror, trying to scrub off the dirt Just hoping you'll text her soon There's a girl in my head Who blows everything out of proportion Mostly I just wish she was dead There's a girl in my basement And she wants to be with you, but you doubt that And she hates it There's a girl on my bedroom floor She can only stare blankly at her phone Cause she doesn't really know how to talk to you anymore There's a girl in my bed And she tries to sleep at night But she just thinks things over and over instead
