The Apology

The Apology

A Poem by Ruarc Cinaed

'r Esgusawd

'r bwrw glaw sibrydion 'i 'n ddiwryg esgusawd, 'n beraidd yn cusanu 'r Briddo,
Awel chodiadau, yn ysgubo ar gerdded pawb 'r choffadwriaethau a chreithiau chan 'r ddiwrnod,

'r brythwch hybiau, a chan ar ôl 'r chymylau a 'n araul baladr,

Byd chrëir ail i mewn fenwyd a ag afiaith.

The Apology

The rain whispers its feeble apology, sweetly kissing the Earth,
A wind rises, sweeping away all the memories and scars of the day,
The storm lifts, and from behind the clouds, a sunlit ray,
A world is reborn in joy and with mirth.

Darfod.
