This is describing the uneasiness befor a battle. Enjoy.

"

'r dawelu anad 'r brythwch

 

Na blymio. 'n ofnus ddyhea, 'n annaturiol ddwfn,

Na chrau ca eto d bwra, namyn addoed choesau 'r awyra,

Pawb ddeisyf at areithia, chysura, llonna, namyn ddim anturia,

'na, i mewn yn dyheu, 'r nefoedd chria...

 

The Calm Before the Storm

 

Silence. Unnervingly long, unnaturally deep,

No blood has yet been shed, but there is death in the air,

All want to speak, to comfort, to cheer, but none dare,

Then, in anticipation, the heavens weep...

 

Darfod.
