Perspective

Perspective

A Poem by Cadel
"

A quick poem

"
Life is spite and dreary,
If only allowed.
Life is bright and cheery,
If only allowed.
The world is matter slowly rotting,
If only allowed.
The world is soil ripe for potting,
If only allowed.

Your writing is very sparse and clear. I dig it.

Of course, it all depends on our perspective, and what we see in the world around us is just a reflection of who we are. Nicely done!

and we are the ones who allow it to be what it will be...if only.

Short, sweet, yet so powerful.

Perspective is a very interesting concept. Each of us views the world in a different way, and many of us try to express that viewpoint to other people. Who's to say which view, if any, is right? It's all just a matter of perspective.

"Allowing" - Ah.. What a power it holds!
You've written the poem so elegantly!

This crosses my mind a lot - perspective. It really dictates our life experience, but at times it's hard for us to be aware of that. If we were more regularly conscious of it, I think we'd probably enjoy life more.
