My Purple Bleeding Stars

My Purple Bleeding Stars

A Poem by Michael Guccione
"

An homage to a girl I never had.

"

My purple bleeding stars

Dont shine so bright

Against a background of someone glowing like you.

Aww, the good old double take.

Everyone is double talking as I keep double taking

And the stars keep crashing around my head.

Pleasant heated tranquility perspires my mind,

Dripping sweaty thoughts of you and this constant consternation.

O, this rewind mind relaxation.

Please pass me the sugar and allow me to sweeten

The frightfully frugal flower already budding a breeze of burgeoned beauty.

Find me the pourage

To give me the courage,

To give me the strength,

To be what I ain't

And forgive me of the love of only the corrupt

And make it juxtapose with only the stars I fear most.
